We realise that this is a time of uncertainty for everyone and want to assure you that we have the welfare of our staff and service users as our priority at this very challenging time.
What follows are the new arrangements that we are implementing for the different areas of our organisation from now on, based on the latest government advice and our assessment of the risks involved in each service area. If you have any questions, please get in touch.
All of our housing projects will stay open to continue to support our residents. Comprehensive plans are in place to ensure that we can provide support, even if our staff situation changes. New residents will be welcomed and supported during these challenging times. We are also implementing ways of working with our residents remotely if needed, to limit face-to-face contact and have increased our cleaning schedule at all sites.
Since the beginning of the week we have continued to open our nurseries for the children of key workers. However, we have found that the demand for this service is extremely low and most parents have been able to make alternative arrangements to care for their children.
As this is the case, we have made the decision to close all of our nurseries from the end of the day on Friday 27th March. The very small number of parents who are impacted by this are being supported to find a suitable alternative.
We have now taken the decision to close our conferencing services immediately. The safety of our staff and customers is our priority at this time. All customers have been contacted and we will provide alternative dates for bookings.
Eden coffee shop
Eden is now closed to the public to safeguard our staff and our customers. Please be assured that this decision has not been taken lightly and we are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause.
Please rest assured that for our apprentices and employers there will be no disruption to the service we provide due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
Our team our now working from home, to support the guidance around social distancing. We will continue to support apprentices on a one to one basis remotely, so please make sure that we have up to date contact details.
All classroom delivery has been put on hold for the moment and will be reviewed as guidance changes.
